Dear FAC Members, Families, Friends, and Supporters,
Florida Action Committee’s media outreach continues to grow.
We want every member, family member, friend, and supporter to know where to find our documentaries, videos, interviews, legal updates, educational material, and advocacy work.
These stories help show the real-world effects of registry laws and restrictions on people forced to register, their spouses, parents, children, friends, veterans, and communities.
FAC is currently helping journalists connect with people who have been directly affected by registry laws and restrictions.
We are looking for people willing to talk about housing and residency restrictions, homelessness or transient status, being forced out of housing, employment barriers, reporting requirements, and the effects these laws have had on families.
You do not have to be the person on the registry to help.
FAC is assisting with reporting involving people affected by registry-related homelessness, transient living situations, residency restrictions, displacement, and the difficulty of finding lawful housing.

A Central Florida investigative reporter is looking at how housing and residency restrictions affect where people are able to live and why these restrictions can cause people forced to register to become concentrated in certain neighborhoods.
